Business Objects (BO) Developer, Urgent Start, Alicante

A new exciting opportunity is available in Alicante/Spain for a BUSINESS OBJECTS DEVELOPER/EXPERT.

Our client, one of the leading IT companies in Luxembourg, is looking for an experienced developer interested in working within a team of developers.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- 6 years of IT experience;
- Business Objects XI Desktop Intelligence; SAP- Dashboard Designer 4.0 or Xcelsius;
- Business Objects Designer (universes, import tables, creation of links, contexts, new objects);
- Central Management Console to control access rights to folder/report Infoview;
- SQL (Server Studio, TOAD, etc.);
- Excel pivot tables.

TASKS:

- Provide IT technical consultancy and training, expertise and evaluations in a specific technical domain regarding the relevant subject: statistical analysis, performance management, process performance indicators, Business Objects reports, sampling for quality checks (calculate size sample which has to be checked in each area of activity in order to come to statistically representative results at different levels, the expected error rate), survey techniques, questionnaire and scale design;
- Provide IT technical expertise in the relevant subject (performance management);
- Maintain reports, develop strategic ones. Analysis of data directly on DB (with SQL queries, TOAD); Schedule and maintenance of webi reports.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

- Fluent English;
- Any other European language is an asset.

This position is offered as a freelance contract (autonomo). The initial duration is 1 month, but an extension is very likely.
