Business Manager - Structured Capital Markets

Our client, a major investment bank are seeking a Credit Business Manager to represent and support Structured Capital Markets (SCM) activity and contribute to maintaining highest standards in the global control framework.

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business efficiency: monitor revenues vs budget with ad-hoc analyses, manage headcount and costs (monitor, analyse and optimise direct expenses, monitor indirect expenses)
- Reconcile the liquidity, RWAs & capacity consumption of SCM transactions and monitor the SCM credit exposure and their corresponding CDS pricing
- Responsible for SCM business compliance, in coordination with Group Functions: ensure appropriate policies are in place and are adhered to, answer internal audit and IG questions and action recommendations
- Monitor the operational risk and the impact of transfer pricing on SCM transactions
- SPVs follow-up
- Act as main contact for all internal Functions (Compliance, IT, Operations, Risks)

Specific Responsibilities: assist the SCM structuring team worldwide in the pre- and post-implementation process of transactions
- Review the performance indicators of each transaction before TAC circulation
- Review the booking and transfer pricing sections of each TAC memo
- Participate in the execution phase of the transaction:
- manage the booking procedure in liaison with Middle Office (cash flows, booking Matrix)
- Assist the Structuring Team in booking the trades in FO systems, initiate KYC and CRDS workflows.
- Monitor the transaction at and post-closing:
- ensure a proper representation of the transaction components in the systems (in respect of credit risk, liquidity, RWAs)
- prepare Transfer Pricing fees invoices
- check that all subject-to raised at Approval Committees have been fulfilled
- prepare a certificate to formalise the transaction closing out
- monitor the transaction up until maturity
- sign-off the P&L on a monthly basis with Middle Office on behalf of the Structuring team

Technical skills:
- Mathematical, Engineering, Computing or Business School graduate.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and financial products
- Comfortable in dealing with complex and technical projects
- Good IT knowledge mandatory (Excel, VBA, data analysis/query)
- Strong analytical mind
- Knowledge of FO systems (STAR/Focus/MAD/Martini/Kondor+) and MO architecture system is a plus
