Business Manager - Edinburgh

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BUSINESS MANAGER for a contract until the end of March based in Edinburgh.

You will be required to develop a divisional business plan and a programme brief for the organisation. Both of these documents will include resourcing and communications plans.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS - - Strong experience of preparing business plans and programme briefs

- Enthusiastic, flexible and interested in developing more effective ways of working.
- Well organised with project management experience.
- Skilled at developing contacts and the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and good at keeping people updated with clear concise communications.

DESIRABLE SKILLS - - Experience of working with or for the Scottish Government and Scottish Ministers

- Awareness of wider policy environment, identifying links and connections with issues.
- Experience of working with the 3 step improvement framework for Scotland's public services

Candidates are expected to hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland issued in the last 12 months or be happy to undergo this clearance.
