Business Intelligence Test Specialist (long-term Contract)

For an international financial institution in Lausanne we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE TEST SPECIALIST (LONG-TERM CONTRACT) - 5599
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure the expected quality and accuracy of the software deliverables
- Participate to define the test approach for BI
- Analyse data mapping and transformation requirements in order to develop test strategies, procedures, and plans
- Develop and execute SQL data quality test cases, scripts and procedures to test data integration processes
- Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements and the agreed planning
- Participate actively in the market and end-user acceptance phases
- Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes
REQUIREMENTS
- Comprehensive understanding of MULTIDIMENSIONAL DATABASE CONCEPTS (star schema, data vault etc.), systems architecture and data structures
- Proven track record in BI/DW TESTING
- Skilled in testing conceptual and logical models for the data warehouse or DataMart (data structure, storage, and integration)
- Profound knowhow with:
- Database Analysis
- PL/SQL and Oracle (MUST)
- SQL and SQL Server
- HP tools (ALM, QTP, Performance Center etc.)
- Stored procedures and functions, triggers and views
- Experience creating SQL QA checks to check data integration and data transformation
- Multitasking skills, quick understanding, honest and open communication attitude
- Beneficial experience:
- Off-site test center
- SAP BO (Webi, universe)
- Technical team lead
- Business area knowledge
- Fluent English is a MUST, French is a plus
- Open-minded team-player with strong interpersonal skills and solution- as well as service-oriented working manner
