Business Intelligence Developer

My Dublin based client has a new Contract requirement for a skilled Business Intelligence Developer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established client who work with leading edge technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing customer-facing reports and dashboards on BI tools such as Jasper.

Writing complex SQL and Hive queries - joins, unions, etc.

Supporting and developing batch map-reduce & hive jobs

Data warehouse design and development

Integrating external data sources into existing dashboard

Log file parsing

Relational database design

Java programming

REQUIREMENTS:

2 years experience with Jasper iReport and dashboards

Must have inquisitive nature to mine into data and identify insights and anomalies

Must be precise and analytical.

Should have ability to share and collaborate

DESIRABLE:

Data warehouse design

Data mining

Datamodelling

Advanced analytics (predictive modelling, segmentation, forecasting)

ETL experience

Hadoop/Hive

Pentaho, Tableau, Business Objects experience

Client analytics experience

The Daily Rate is Negotiable depending on experience.
