Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing Analyst

An excellent opportunity is available for a local candidate with experience of Business Intelligence & Data-Warehousing to join a very exciting BI project in central Glasgow. The BI / DW Analyst will be working on a major BI platform migration and will be tasked with:

- Extracting data from core systems and loading into a new central data-warehouse
- Building data marts using dimensional modelling
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to discuss changing BI or MI requirements

Platform experience is not essential - the organisation is moving from Oracle BI to Qlikview but experience of these technologies is only desirable - what is really important is a strong understanding of BI, and general principles of dimensional modelling, designing star schemas etc.

Any database knowledge/experience would be beneficial, and candidates with SQL or PL/SQL programming ability would be at an advantage.

This role is offered as an initial fixed term contract (lasting 8 months), paid on a salaried basis of between 30- and 36,000 per annum (pro rata) in addition to a very generous benefits package including over 40 days holiday!
