Business Intelligence Business Analyst - Leading Global Retail Brand

One of Asia's most well-known brands seeks a Business Intelligence Business Analyst to join the APAC Group IT Team. You will be responsible for turning their in house Legacy reporting system into a world class BI platform.  This is a brand new role which the business is looking to build around going forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Defining the blueprint Business Intelligence strategy
- Progressing to a high level design phase to get a full costed proposal for implementation
- Define the KPIs and review routines the business will be run by
- Designing a BI model that will aid ongoing business expansion
- Collaborate closely with the IT engineering team to gather, analyze new BI business requirements.
- Managing stakeholder relationships, implementing a region wide solution
- Conduct User/Super-User Trainings.
- Create and maintain technical, end-user and training documentations

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field. 
- At least 6-8 years of BI work experience on data warehousing with Oracle or Microstrategy technologies
- Strong previous track record of implementing a BI system for a large MNC (2 million USD and above)
- Excellent experience of working with BI data from all business streams within a Retail, Supply Chain or Consumer industry - THIS IS A MUST HAVE
- Good understanding of business processes in Sales & Distribution with customer & service orientation
- Excellent analytical skills (Trainer experience will be an advantage)
- Excellent Communication skills in  English, Cantonese will be an advantage
- Candidates will Business Intelligence consultancy background will be considered highly
- Knowledge of Retail processes and procedures. 
- Exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills required
- Must be willing to participate in all aspects of the project including being very hands on and versatile.
