Projektbeschreibung
Business Intelligence Analyst required for a European Institution in Brussels;
Tasks:
- Creation and maintenance of a data warehouse
- Gathering business requirements
- Analysis of business and user requirements, writing specifications
- Analysis and implementation of data extraction, transfer and load using an ETL tool
- Datamodelling
- Design and development of reporting applications
- Development of reporting facilities
- Assistance in the testing and technical training
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participation in meetings with the project teams
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture
- In depth knowledge of relational and dimensional database systems (eg Oracle)
- In depth knowledge and experience in reporting development using Qlik Sense
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools (eg SAS and Business Object)
- Good knowledge of ETL tools (eg SAS)
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence design and development environments (eg Business Object)
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team
- Ability to write and present studies in a clear and comprehensive manner
- A keen sense of teamwork, a flexible approach, strong interpersonal and communication skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the domain of Business Intelligence reporting tools (eg Business Objects), ETL tools (eg SAS DI) or Visual reporting (eg Qlik sense)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse
- Strong Experience with web development (eg Qlik Sense, Java)
- Experience with BI design and reporting tools (eg Business Objects, SAS)
- Experience with ETL tools (eg SAS DI)
