Job Purpose of the Business Improvement Analyst:
*To work with the business identifying innovation areas and how to address them to realise maximum benefits.
*Specifically to focus on supporting key innovation opportunities we've identified and then to work these up with the business to assess benefits, sanctioning documents and understand how projects will be optimally delivered to meet specific (Ofgem) funding criteria.
*Develop and maintain implementation summary packs containing assessments of portfolio segments that will be jointly owned by the Innovation team and the relevant Lines of Business (LoBs). The ability to establish good working relationships and work in a Matrix way are essential for this role, as well as effectively engage with key experts.

Experience Required of the Business Improvement Analyst:
*Previous experience in compiling information for internal and external reporting is essential along with the ability to quickly assess business cases and options for how to develop an innovative idea. Track record of proactive problem solving.
*Good understanding of innovation/process improvement
*Systematic approach to processes and business innovation.
*Good organisational and networking skills.
*Commercial acumen to work with others to develop positive outcomes from ideas.
*Good interpersonal skills to influence individuals to progress work.
*Logical approach to problem solving.
