Business Development Officer

Our client, a South West London Borough Council is recruiting for a Business Development Officer who can take responsibility for developing their portfolio of services and designing new transformation programmes by collating research, conducting pro-active networking and knowledge sharing on national policy and performance initiatives and good practice and supporting the design of new transformation programmes and business cases.

You will be expected to provide high quality data and business analysis of the Environment Service ensuring that policies and processes are customer focused, user friendly, efficient and fair. One of the post-holders' key activities is to support project sponsors with business case developments for new transformation projects and programmes.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

- Minimum 2 years analytical experience in a similar environment with evidence of business process re-engineering, and creating and managing benefits realisation plans.
- Project Management or Business Analysis accreditation.
- Experience of using a wide range of management, project and analysis tools for the preparation/presentation of information including SQL, Reporting, Excel, Visual Studio and any other analytical tools.
- Extensive experience of writing detailed reports and business cases, and able to present complex issues to a variety of audiences in written or verbal formats.
