Business Development Manager - Europe and Africa

Progressive Global Energy is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to fill a highly sought after position within a small, innovative service and solution company based in Aberdeen. This position has arisen due to their excellent performance and productivity.

This position is to look after growth plans for their Europe and Africa business.

The ideal candidate for this role MUST have experience in the following:

* Management or supervisory experience within drilling

* Knowledge of completion and drilling productions

* Experience selling services and products to Oil & Gas companies

* Strong demonstrable track record in sales

* Hands on field experience (ideally offshore).

* Availability to travel

About the Role

Increase brand awareness throughout the UK market and develop existing and potential customer understanding and knowledge of solid expandable systems and applications.

Continually identify, qualify and maximise sales opportunities in the drilling, production and completion market segments.

Build strong business relationships with the existing and potential client base on an international level

Document the UK market potential for SET® Systems in the drilling, production and completion market segments, continually update the information and generate revenue funnels.

Ensure the company qualifies for any Invitation to Tender (ITT) issued for solid expandable technology products.

Main responsibilities include:

Identify, develop and maximise new and existing business opportunities by being proactive in the market place.

Continually and actively present and market product solutions to existing and potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails and local exhibitions/trade shows.

Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all business opportunities are quickly captured, explored and qualified.

Manage and maintain a reporting regime in line with agreed requirements using the Customer Relationship Management database and its functions.

Ensure the company qualifies and responds to tenders, enquiries and information requests in a timely manner.

This is a staff position based in Aberdeen with the following package on offer

* Basic Salary between £60- 70k
