Business Development Manager-Commercial and Contracts, Buckinghamshire

Business Development Manager - Commercial and Contracts, Pitstone, Buckinghamshire - FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 1 year.

Principal Accountabilities
The responsibility for responding to the commercial aspects of tenders, proposals and change proposals, including responses to customer terms and conditions and involvement in the preparation and submittal of prices in compliance with SBU approval authority levels.
Communicate business and contract risk issues to appropriate management levels with the aim to minimise exposure and develop contingency plans as necessary
Lead or assist, where appropriate, in the negotiation of contracts (including amendments/changes) with the customer within a defined level of authority and responsibility.

This will include drafting and negotiating agreements of the following types:
- PIM projects
- R anticipate and respond to customer requirements and complaints; be proactive in giving the highest priority to customer service and satisfaction; build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

Liaison with the legal advisors as necessary
Provide ad hoc commercial guidance as required
Advise Strategic Sourcing on flow down of terms and conditions to Strategic Suppliers.
