Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, and have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. She/he will be a self-motivated individual who is disciplined and has the ability and initiative to make their own plans without day to day management. As the Business Development Manager, the preferred candidate will have: * a background in Engineering/Offshore & Subsea Industry (desirable but not essential) * a passion for understanding client requirements and providing clients and consultants alike with the right solution * commercial and business acumen * the ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail * excellent organisational and time management skills * a positive attitude to dealing with people * the ability to work independently, and as part of a team, to achieve broad strategic goals * excellent presentation and communication skills in all forms * the ability to work independently and as part of a team The successful applicant with be home based with a vast majority of time spent in the aforementioned geographical areas. A salary of £40,000 is on offer with a bonus in place (paid out at 15% over the previous 3 years). With a large amount of autonomy on offer and the ability to develop new areas, this role carries good career progression potential.
