An exciting opportunity to join a leading household name broadcaster has arisen. Our client is seeking a sales professional to sell sponsored video segments to c-suite and director level staff within the education, health care, banking and pharmaceutical sectors.

Business Development Manager
£30,000 + commission (OTE - £80,000 + uncapped)
6 months with a view to permanent offer

Our client is an independent content provider, producing news, entertainment and factual content across a range of platforms from TV to online and mobile. Their news programming reaches over nine million viewers and users every day, and many of their employees are familiar faces to the UK population.

As Business Development Manager you will be generating new prospects and leads within four key sectors in order to sell sponsored segments within Industry News programming. This role will be a mix of selling over the phone, taking ownership of research, lead generation, sales approaches and closing. You will remain as account manager, ensuring client satisfaction and dealing with any queries.

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have significant sales experience, selling a complex product or service to c-suite and director level staff. Ideally, you will have sold within one of their core target audiences. You will also sound research and negotiation skills, the ability to use your own initiative and excellent MS Office. It is essential that you have the ability to demonstrate agile and analytical thinking and are highly confident in your ability to sell.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a very well respected business who are offering uncapped earnings. All employees join initially as a 6 month contract with permanent employment offered after this period, once ability has been proved.
