BUSINESS CONTROL- FINANCIAL SERVICES - MONEY MARKET PRODUCTS

My client, a Leading Financial Services Company, are recruiting for a Business Control Manager to join the Term Deposits Finance Team, initially on a 6 month contract based in London, City.

OVERVIEW

- Daily B/S and P&L reporting for Term Deposits by coverage
- Weekly consolidation of Customer Liabilities Balance Sheet (Term Deposits + Transaction Banking)
- Weekly MI reporting for Tenor reports, Customer rate reports and performance reports to aid the business in a Business Partnering capacity
- Production and review of various month-end processes including:

o Conference calls on performance
o Understanding and including the Liquidity Transfer Pricing income into our p&l
o Production of monthly P ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA
comprehensive product control background in money market products (understanding the products and their booking and accounting of deposits, FX revaluation knowledge would be an advantage and
They must also be able to demonstrate the skills expected of a manager, by taking control and responsibility for all aspects of their role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to readily understand the issues, get their point across and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of management
Strong Access, strong Excel, at least to VBA and the ability to manipulate efficiently large amounts of data is key to delivering the role requirement
An understanding of Net Interest Income, Other Operating Income and Liquidity Transfer Pricing is required
