Business Continuity Manager - London - ASAP

BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT, DISASTER RECOVERY, RISK ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT

Our London based client is undertaking a major technology replacement programme and require an experienced Business Continuity Manager to oversee the transitioning of new systems in to live operations without impacting the overall service and whilst positioning the customer for future improvements.

The Business Continuity Manager will be responsible for completing a detailed business impact analysis and risk assessment of the services attributed to delivery of the programme. The output of the assessment is to produce a documented plan and set of processes covering; Business and Service Continuity Management for the transition period of service, run and maintain Service Operations combined with integration activities into the existing plans.

The role includes creating plans, processes, project plan schedule input, coordination, consultancy, governance, collaboration and reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery and Risk Assessment Management and duties will include development of Business Continuity Management Plans (BCMP) ensuring they cover the contractual requirements of the programme; including ICT services, facilities and in accordance with the defined Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements

The BCMP's are to address what activities will be invoked in the event of a Major Service Incident or disruption to normal Service and Business Operations. The plan must address the need to integrate with the existing Business Continuity Plans and objectives for maintaining Business Operations.

Ideally possessing ISO22301 Business Continuity Management certification the successful candidate will have proven experience of working within either programme management, transition management or a business transformation programme together with excellent customer facing skills and strong risk management experience.
