Position Title: Business Continuity Consultant 

Job Family: Business Systems Analyst - HS 

The Information Technology Resiliency Management organization is looking for a top-notch business continuity consultant to join our dynamic, fast pace and exciting team. This professional will provide business continuity and crisis management subject matter expertise to a highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted program. This position will be directly responsible for collaboratively developing and driving program initiatives, and supporting project plans in a rapid pace and rewarding environment. We are looking for a professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude, experience working in large and complex organizations, and a passion and drive for this area of work. 

As a seasoned professional you will be responsible for: 

- Utilizing your experience with Business Continuity, Business Resumption, and Crisis Management in performing the composition and decomposition of solutions and related processes required to support IT resiliency. 
- Coordinating the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity plans. 
- Designing and coordinating exercises and tests for IT executive crisis management plans. 
- Managing timely and effective closure of identified issues and action items. 
- Leading the development of key IT business recovery strategies. 
- Closely collaborating with IT managers, business partners, and various functions throughout the Client organization; developing, maintaining and improving maturity levels of business continuity and crisis management throughout the IT organization. 
- Managing successful project delivery through disciplined project management processes. 
- Beyond robust and effective project management and communication skills, you must be highly effective in communication: highly developed verbal, written, and presentation skills are all mandatory. 
- Providing direct, complex, and highly specialized business continuity program support to Lead Project Manager and Program Leader. 
- Serve as right hand to the Lead Project Manager and perform other duties as assigned. 

The successful candidate must have 7+ years experience and qualifications working in a dynamic team environment across organizational lines, and within a large organization with the following skills: 

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field. 
- Eight (8) + years of progressive experience in Business Continuity Planning in complex environments. 
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) required or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) preferred. 
- 7+ years of project management experience with at least 5+ years experience managing implementations of large-scale projects. 
- Project Management (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred. 
- Experience in health plan and IT environments a plus. 
- Experience developing high quality project plans, leading projects of complex scope, assuring that the project adheres to internal life cycle methodologies. 
- Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
