Business Consultant - Strategy

This Business Consultant role facilitates strategic analysis to support the formation, validation and implementation of business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of the end-to-end business architecture of the business domains within a buy-side Investment to Investment Operations operating model.

This is a strategic change role where you will be expected to conceive and create business cases for strategic projects within the business. You will look at the current situation, assess and compare, factor in future regulatory and other necessary changes and create business case presentations to the business. This is the initiation stage of projects and you will not follow on and complete these projects but hand them over to more delivery focuses projects teams. This role will require the candidate to have a solid knowledge of the investment management space as well as an understanding of current and up and coming regulatory changes.

The successful candidate will more than likely be able to demonstrate:

- A strong understanding of the Investment Management space including, it products, processes and regulations
- Experience in large project and programme strategy and initiation
- Excellent business analysis ability with particular focus on needs analysis and documentation
- A proven history of strategic change within the investment management space
- You will possibly have come from a consultancy background
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation and persuasive ability
