An exciting opportunity is available for an IT Business Consultant with excellent Business Analysis
- Develop process and procedures to drive efficiencies gains;
- Analyze and document business requirements and designs business solutions;
- Design and lead requirements elicitation sessions including use of interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process outcome modelling, and task and workflow analysis;
- Liaise between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least four (4) years attested by a diploma in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technologies, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management or related areas;
- Excellent Business Analysis and Process skills, including strong knowledge of methodologies, processes, and best business practices;
- At least 10 years of demonstrated experience specializing in Business Analysis including project experience in full systems development life cycle implementations and robust, enterprise scale applications or initiatives;
- Two years or more of demonstrated documentation and process development;
- Knowledge of standards for the practice of Business Analysis (ie Business Analyst Body of Knowledge - BABoK);
- Knowledge of Project Management industry standards (PMI or equivalent);
- Ability to quickly absorb and understand business processes;
- Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to business problems;
- Strong coaching, teaching, facilitation, and organizational skills, with a solid track record of developing organizational and individual capabilities; possess and demonstrate excellent analytical and critical skills to assess situations, troubleshoot, and make recommendations from both strategic and tactical perspectives;
- Ability to provide reasonable time estimates and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with a high level of quality;
- Excellent professional communication skills for communicating effectively and tactfully with management, business users, and team members;
- Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and interviews with management, business owners and users to define, establish, and document business objectives and requirements, and foster communications with business users and team members.

Languages:

- Fluent English written and verbal, strategic thinking, interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.

This position is offered as a long term freelance contract.
