Role - Business Consultant
Location - Brussels, Germany
Duration - 6 months + extensions
Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis tasks and reporting
- Participate to coordination meetings with the customer and/or other contractors
- Review business and technical documentation following predefined criteria
- Report on progress, highlights, lowlights, risks, issues
- Gather business needs, solicit product and process enhancements from end users
- Interact with technology teams and multiple stakeholders with confidence, empathy and diplomacy
- Coordinate with and support other peer teams
- Support and actively contribute to the incident-, problem-, change-, risk-, configuration- and release management processes
- Running/attending meetings/workshops/trainings
Essential Skills
- Having a bachelor or master degree
- Able to validate processes (business analysis) and documentation;
- Thorough and able to work with high quality standards; experience in a quality control, verification, coordination or consulting role is an advantage
- Having knowledge about ITIL processes: incident -, change management, CSIP
- Having knowledge on taxation or customs
- Open to learn the client's business, methodology and environment
- A good communicator in English as well as in Dutch and/or French; good writing skills are a key advantage
- Able to integrate into an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability, experience of working in teams, understanding needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
