Business Change Manager (Various Central Government Departments) - London

Clearance Level Required: DV level preferred, but will consider SC level and candidates with no current clearance (who are willing to go the DV clearance progress - which could take between 3-6 months)

Overview

Develop Business Change/Improvement plans and work with the business to implement and manage business change aligned to business needs and benefit

Stakeholder Management

Initiates and facilitates communications with a diverse set of senior stakeholders within the business, other Government departments and suppliers

Responsibilities

* You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of new technologies into the business. Part of your role will be to help minimise disruption to the business, as well as managing business risks and ensuring people are prepared for change.
* Ideally you will have already worked on the business implementation of one or two technology led changes. You may have experience of conducting a change impact analysis to understand how new technology impacts people, processes, facilities, skills and knowledge. You may also have been part of the communications or training team or had a 'hands on role' in deployment planning and implementation.
* Crucial to your role will be supporting other change agents in the active communications and business engagement plan. Part of your role will be producing first class copy for internal communications and training manuals.
* You know how to put together a good communication plan, understanding the importance of message, medium, timing and frequency. We are looking for someone who is able to put themselves in the shoes of our business users to make sure our messages land well.

Mandatory

*

3 to 10 years experience working in pure Business Change roles
*

Experience of different strategic analysis techniques such as SWOT, PESTLE, Five Force Analysis
*

Experience of working in a structured Prince 2 project environment and the Agile approach to development
