BUSINESS ARCHITECT - WHOLESALE BANKING - TARGET OPERATING MODEL (TOM)

A leading Retail Bank based in Bristol is seeking a BUSINESS ARCHITECT to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for designing, interpreting and communicating the Target Operating Model, flexing it for changes anticipated by the project scope and quality assuring its integrity in delivery phases of the p programme. Key responsibilities will include:

- Assimilating, understanding and documenting complex systems and models,
- Understanding, interpreting, communicating and championing the Target Operating Model (TOM),
- Designing and implementing strategic TOMs,
- Providing consultancy and quality assurance for implementations against the agreed TOMs,
- Providing support and clarity to Stakeholders and non-Architecture programme team audiences.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):

- Experience of designing and implementing strategic target operating models
- Specialist in assimilating, understanding and documenting complex systems
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building, communication and management skills
- Strong process analysis skills with a view to re-engineer for synergies and improvement
- Skilled in Business Architecture/Design
- Good knowledge of wholesale banking models, principals and regulation
- Advanced MS Excel Skills and strong MS Access Skills
- Dynamic and aesthetic presentation skills (particularly using MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio)

As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
