Business Analysts - x4 Positions - Oracle/DB2

A highly-regarded Federal Government department is seeking X4 BUSINESS ANALYSTS to join their Canberra office. This is to be working on a new and exciting project for a 2 month contract, with opportunities to extend

Your responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to) the following:

- Work with the business area to identify solution/s including documentation of workflows and procedures
- Document the issue and solution in accordance with templates the department's Systems Delivery Methodology (SDM);
- Write papers that can present complex issues and recommendations in a succinct manner to external stakeholders.
- Assist with Testing and participate in reviews/walkthroughs of all changes to ensure all changes meet business requirements as specified.
- Experience in an Oracle environment including SQL may be an advantage.

To be successful, you will need to possess the following:

- Have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with experience in interpreting business, legislative and user requirements.
- Have experience in following system and project management methodologies, including producing appropriate deliverables during each phase of a project
- Have experience in working in a project team and liaising with business and IT staff to resolve issues.
- Experience in relational database technologies, preferably Oracle and/or DB2. 
- Previous government experience desirable
