Must have skills:
12-15 years product development; Technical expertise to go through design activities but will not be responsible for code or architecture; Extensive business analysis and requirements gathering experience.

This candidate will create detailed requirements for use by developers in conjunction with the business users, and review the system designs produced by the developers to ensure that they meet the business needs. S/He will act as a SME on the business systems for both the business and the developers, review test plans and test cases in detail to ensure that critical scenarios are fully tested, and create UAT test plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the development, launch introduction and ongoing oversight of technology deliverables to meet business goals ensuring that solutions can integrate easily.
- Collaborate in the development of an overall detailed technology roadmap and BRD for the definition and timing of future phases, based on business objectives, vendor capabilities and opportunity to integrate client's technology assets.
- Work with extended cross functional stakeholders to create ongoing requirements for new service offerings and existing platform enhancements.
- Monitor assigned product platform development projects to ensure they are delivered on time, meeting the business need and are in budget.
- Lead the development of technical requirements, use cases, functional flows, and designs to meet solutions business goals.
- Manage product development activities such as assisting in evaluation of design and reviewing QA and UAT plans.
- Monitor progress of development team activities across internal and external vendor teams to ensure business requirements are successfully delivered.
- Obtain buy-in on product direction and strategy from senior management
- Work with multiple internal teams to effectively deliver solutions to customers.

SKILLS

- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology field and 12-15 years product development and/or project management and technology solution development experience
- Experienced professional with a mix of technology development and business analysis experience
- Extensive business analysis and requirements gathering experience
- Ability to understand business needs and translate into a development plan
- Ability to review and recommend development solutions
- Extensive resource management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective facilitation and negotiation skills including prior experience in delivery through external vendors
- Demonstrated organization, clear communication, decision making, facilitation skills, and leadership experience
- Demonstrated project or program management success
- Success in overseeing and developing solutions for payment networks, banking systems and/or web based applications desired
- Experience developing business, functional and technical requirements for the implementation of web products
- MS Office with excellent Visio skills
- Experience with UAT
- Hands-on and an active contributor; aptitude to dive into details, comfortable sharing problem solving solutions, even keeled
