A leading IT Consultancy require the services of an Business analyst to join them 6 month contract in US

Details

* Position requires multiple levels of technical expertise in the areas of software design.
* Takes the initiative in development efforts of varying complexity.
* Writes and tests application code for public-facing and Line-of-Business systems.
* Writes unit tests to help ensure that code meets quality, performance, and functional specifications.
* Develops in web, web services (SOA), and database environments.
* Responsible for the design of applications and enhancements to meet specific business requirements.
* Participates in code reviews, teaching and learning better ways to code.
* Develops functional designs and specifications.
* Assists in evaluating and recommending technical solutions.
* Assists and supports QA testers with development and execution of test plans.
* Assists in collaborative development of documentation and standards.
* Provides hands-on troubleshooting/support as needed.

Requirements

* A solid understanding of software design and development principles.
* A minimum of 3 years (5+ preferred) of ASP.NET framework experience.
* Must have advanced skills in Front End presentation, middle-tier, and Back End database skills (SQL and LINQ at minimum/EF preferred) and have a history of producing quality code for the web.
* Must be detail-oriented and passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience.
* Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of and experience with the full application development life cycle, unit testing, and N-tier architecture.
* Technical expertise must include: ASP.NET MVC 2 or newer (3 preferred); C#; SQL Server 2005 or newer; HTML; CSS; JavaScript. We strongly prefer that you have public-facing website development experience.
