Business Analyst (Tax Compliance)

BUSINESS ANALYST

Our client, a global consulting and solution enterprise is actively looking for Business Analyst to join a new engagement with an Large Banking Customer on a 3 month rolling contract based in Zurich, Switzerland.

AS A BUSINESS ANALYST YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Supports business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future.
- Understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view.
- Obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements, develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process.
- Identify synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project's plans work products, business strategy and the overall context in application and technical architecture

FOR THIS POSITION THE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS ANALYST WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology
- Must have 8 years experience within the Tax compliance and understanding of financial instruments
- Must be experienced in eliciting and defining (business) processes
- Have solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- Knowledge of bank client static date (CIF), securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- Must Speak Fluent German and English.
