Business Analyst - Supply Chain Management

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst with knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management processes and procedures. Our client is a key player in the Mining arena and is undertaking one of the largest programs of work within Queensland at the moment. They are looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst with a strong Vendor engagement background to gather, analyse, and interpret business needs for a Vendor application implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- interpreting, understanding and challenging vendor gap analysis results;
- working with the vendors to ensure the best value proposition is achieved for the client;
- understanding when an impasse has been reached, gathering the right people to work towards a solution and managing the group to an acceptable outcome;
- realising when stakeholder expectations cannot be met, investigating acceptable options, providing a solution based outcome and negotiating the way forward with Vendors and Stakeholders all within a timely manner;

You will have the ability to quickly learn the clients requirements and environment; and highly developed communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to understand End-User requirements.

Your confidence and experience will see you managing both stakeholder and vendor expectations. Previous experience with PortVu and/or Quintiq applications would be an advantage.
