POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Conducts and coordinates business strategy reviews, including financial, product, operational impact and other associated research, to support PeopleSoft post-implementation business process in supply chain. Through strong understanding of PeopleSoft procure-to-pay modules as well as a firm understanding of supply chain operations, the position will integrate business objectives with system capabilities to achieve aligned goals. Prepares needs assessment, business requirements, cost estimate models to support projects and business process reviews. Advises and recommends diverse and cross regional stake-holder groups and builds consensus building and decision making models to support timely and effective resolution to business challenges. Sets priorities, establishes project plans and metrics in order to measure performance and outcomes. Provides consultative, technical and staff support, as appropriate.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 5-10 Years.

Skill Set:
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Procure-to-Pay modules including procurement, inventory, item master and payables. Knowledge and appreciation of business operations in supply chain as applicable related to large academic, research, and/or health care system. Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools. Ability to develop and prepare business analyses and plans. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Knowledge of the principles of strategic business decision-making. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Excellent communication, consultative and advisory skills. Skill in the use of computerized spreadsheet, presentation tools, and word processing software. Development of business process using skills such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc. is preferred.

TOP 3 - 5 DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review of submitted PeopleSoft and business requests that require a review of business process across regions in Materials Supply Chain.
Research with cross regional stake-holder teams to develop business requirements and process review actions
Preparation for regular meetings with cross-regional stake-holder teams to review developed business requirements and obtain consensus for recommendations and approval process.

TOP 3 - 5 REQUIRED SKILLS
PeopleSoft experience with Procurement, Inventory, Payables, Item Master modules
Supply Chain operations experience, preferably in health care
Leading cross-functional teams to obtain consensus and decision related to business requirements and business process development
Skilled in Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Word

DESIRED SKILLS
Six Sigma or Lean process
PMP

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation
Team building
