Client is hiring a Business Analyst - Siebel Consumer Goods  for our direct client in BURBANK, CA area. This is a 6 MONTH contractwith a tentative start date of ASAP.

Sr. Business Analyst in support of our MIS department.
The resource need is at our Burbank location. The expected start date is ASAP and the estimated end date is 03/31/2014, most likely 4/30/2013.

TOP MUST HAVES FOR THIS POSITION:

- Financial or Marketing & Sales project experience. Will prefer Financial Accrual projects
- Ability to facilitate business process discussions with groups of 5-10 people of varying levels and interests
- High proficiency in preparation of presentation quality documents and executive level summaries
- Ability to gather and document functional requirements and business process flow analysis
- Experience in Siebel Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Home Entertainment industry

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primarily responsible for understanding, identifying and documenting MIS systems initiatives.
- Delivers high-quality, best-practice services to Customers, applies MIS standards to all work efforts, and communicates consistently with the business and IT co-workers.
- Brings an expert level of business analysis competency to the organization, employing up-to-date, Business Analysis best-practices tools and techniques:

1. Analysis and Solution Definition
a. Leads Customer interviews and documents requirements, business processes, functional specifications, prototypes, use-cases and test plans
b. Assesses business issues and data challenges and suggests areas of improvement
2. Enhancement Execution
a. Participates in discussions with system architects and developers and serves as translator of business requirements and functional specifications to technical staff
b. Ensures business system features are properly implemented and requirements are satisfied
3. Recommendations and Testing
a. Documents comprehensive test plans and test cases
b. Identifies required fixes and communicates to development team

SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES:
High Quality Deliverables and Adoption
1. Responsible for successful, high-quality project deployments with high rates of deliverable quality, usability and end-user adoption.
a. Ensures Customer advocacy and maximum project adoption
2. Ensures process designs include process measurement KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and owners of each KPI (Customer or MIS).
a. Ensures application can support business process measurementoffshore and virtual teams
Experience with design and execution of business and technology best-practices
Consistent success leveraging professional concepts and skills to resolve complex issues in a creative and effective way

- Ability to facilitate business process discussions with groups of 5-20 people of varying levels and interests
- High proficiency in preparation of presentation quality documents and executive level summaries
- Ability to gather and document functional requirements and business process flow analysis
- High proficiency in process reengineering, business process design and modelling
- Ability to define and document data relationships, data flows, process flows, use cases and test cases
- Ability to identify the tasks, effort, assumptions, dependencies, and risks associated with assigned deliverables
- Ability to synthesize business requirements/goals/objectives and collaborate with functional and technical team members to identify and conceptualize viable alternatives
- Ability to continuously evaluate MIS processes constructively and identify and promote process improvements yielding positive impact to quality and service delivery
- Possession of strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct functional impact analysis for new capabilities and for changes to existing capabilities
- Ability to measure, evaluate and prioritize scope items with Customer input
- Ability to support technical effort estimates for solution design and realization
- Ability to develop project life cycle documentation from start to finish
- Ability to initiate and prioritize multiple threads of work efforts and deadlines
- Ability to work successfully across organizational lines and influence outcomes
- Ability to advocate for project adoption up to Sr. Business Management levels to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and positive business sponsorship
- High-degree of independence and self-motivation; enthusiasm for challenging work
- Experience with planning and executing high quality Unit, System integration and User Acceptance testing cycles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
