Business Analyst, SAP Materials Management - Hants - up to £50,000

A leading scientific organisation are looking to expand their SAP Enhancement and Support team.
The responsibilities of this role cover the development, implementation, enhancement and support of SAP within the Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and ideally PPI functional areas. This will involve working with users on the definition of the business requirements to deliver robust and efficient working solutions.

Accountabilities:
* Represent the Department at the MM Finance Steering Group, which liaises with senior management and helps determine workpriorities and strategic direction in that functional area.
* Draw up implementation plans in conjunction with users and ensures that these are in accordance with the overall timescales for enhancements.
* Determine the best approach to using the software facilities available to develop the required systems functionality.
* Configure the MM/PP/ module of SAP system to meet business requirements and generates specifications for ABAP programs as required.
* Assist Business Managers with the delivery of benefits to the business arising from the implementation of SAP and identifies opportunities to implement best practice.
* Work with other Business Systems Analysts to ensure that cross-functional requirements are compatible with overall business needs and that they can be integrated.
* Ensures that system development and implementation is carried out in accordance with the approved control procedures and standards and meet regulatory and audit requirements as applicable

If you've got extensive knowledge and experience in configuration of the MM/PP/QM modules covering at least two complete lifecycle projects and you are approachable, persuasive and able to 'sell' SAP to the business, then this is the job for you.
