Business Analyst/Risk Analyst - Contract

My client, a leading global financial institution, is searching for a Business Analyst/Risk Analyst to join their Risk Department in Zurich.

The successful Risk Analyst/Business Analyst will be responsible for both technical and functional responsibilities within this job including:

- Data Sourcing, interrogation and development of risk models
- Performing portfolio analytics with market data platforms such as Bloomberg
- Developing reporting functionality and workflows
- Portfolio monitoring
- Defining specifications to assist the business stakeholders

To apply for this Business Analyst/Risk Analyst job you should have:

- Strong experience working as a business analyst within a risk function or as a business facing Risk Analyst
- Strong financial services knowledge (ideally investment banking or asset management)
- Very strong experience of financial instruments and models
- Good knowledge of databases and data flows/processes
- Programming skills in SQL
- Experience with Market data platforms
- German language skills are beneficial but not essential
