For a longer term project at our client, an international banking company in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST - RFI/RFP PROCESSES (3644)
An experienced Business Analyst is required to lead the process of concluding the business requirements capture and support their assessment against vendor offerings.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced business analyst with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. Ideally, some experience of managing teams - a blend of business analysis and management skills is desirable
- Experience of vendor engagements and RFI/RFP processes for IT products and services
- Domain (SME) knowledge of secure communication services is highly desirable - from a business and user perspective
- Some knowledge of the market and current vendors for such services is desirable
- VERY GOOD STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO INFLUENCE STAKEHOLDERS IN PURSUIT OF PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (BOTH ORALLY AND IN WRITING) - INCLUDING TO STAKEHOLDERS IN SENIOR ROLES
- Experience as a Consultant would be a plus (Consulting skills)
- Attention to detail
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Liaise with business stakeholders to lead the capture and elaboration of the requirements, and achieve consensus and approval of the documented requirements
- Support the compilation of the Request(s) for Information, and Request(s) for Proposal to be issued to participating vendors
- Liaise with other Program stakeholders (eg Service & Product Management, Service Domain Architects) to obtain their input to the process
- Support the evaluation of vendor responses (from a functional requirements perspective), and contribute to evaluation reports and recommendations for solutions
- Lead the production of business analysis documentation required by UBS's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
- Manage an existing Business Analyst whose role it is to support the above activities and manage the documentation
- Report regularly on progress, risks and issues to the program manager
