Retail Business Analyst - Retail - 6 months - £450/£470 DOE

Business Analyst who has extensive retail experience urgently required to work for one of our retail clients in the Midlands. The successful Retail Business Analyst will be required to identify business requirements, improve processes and work flows, work with various stakeholders and client vendors to review how to improve technology and provide a highly competent consultative service to our customer. You will interact with the client and vendor teams, extract needs and translate them into requirements, functional specifications and use cases and provide valid business solutions. You will be a self-starter with excellent communication and relationship building skills at all levels who can work of their own initiative and to tight deadlines.

YOU WILL BE PROFICIENT IN:

- Working within the retail industry
- Business Analysis from working in the retail industry
- Proven ability to interact with end users and external vendors and obtain required information
- Requirements gathering and writing requirements documents
- Creating functional and technical requirements specifications and business use cases
- System modelling techniques, UML
- Evaluate solutions
- Experience of end to end project life cycle and ideally working in an agile environment
- Knowledge of web applications
- Experience of working in retail
- Exposure to IBM web sphere
