ROLE - Business Analyst - Retail Banking - Insurance - Use Cases - Newport or Leeds - £380/day

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Our client, a leading UK retail bank require the services of a Business Analyst. There is an NDA in place but this project involves operating model changes across home insurance product range - project will involve the scoping and definition for approx. £25m of change investment with definite commitments to invest in at least £14m of change. The current target is to deliver a minimum run rate benefit of £22m per annum.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To be part of a team of 5 BAs who will scope and shape the deliverables for this project, reporting to the Lead Business Analyst.

CORE SKILLS

- Document and develop business requirements using a variety of methodologies such as interviews, requirements workshops, use cases and workflow analysis etc.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts to gain a good understanding of the business needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the standard banks documentation as needed: (use cases, detailed requirement etc)
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
- Successfully engage in multiple projects simultaneously (if required)
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customers business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Ideally understanding and experience of change management in GI and Home Insurance environment with experience of migrating books of business
