ROLE: Business Analyst

DURATION: April 30th, with extension

LOCATION : Bristol

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

To move the Direct Business Banking business from Commercial Division to Retail division and re-segment customers between the two businesses.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Finance Business Analyst role to design (with PM support) and implement a reconciliation and control process to provide financial assurance for product and system migrations which are run as separate workstreams within the programme and support delivery of segmented financials for the Direct business in the SAP general ledger, re-pointing source systems. Accountabilities:

- Act as the Finance representative for product separation, system segmentation and customer segmentation workstreams, designing and delivering finance testing and reconciliation activity with IT and the Finance Shared Service teams
- Work with SMEs in the Commercial and Retail teams to segment financials on the SAP ledger and re-point source systems to the newly created area

CORE SKILLS

- Qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
- Experience of designing and implementing financial reconciliations/testing processes to support system or customer migrations
- SAP experience
- Advanced excel including macros and pivot tables
- Access
- Strong stakeholder management and communication

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Change experience (eg part of a migration project)
