Business Analyst/Release Manager Trading Services

For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a

BUSINESS ANALYST/RELEASE MANAGEMENT TRADING SERVICES

Role overview

-BA working on the database and batch processes of Medusa platform - Securities Lending/Repo trading application
-Management of user acceptance testing and production release

The successful candidate will be expected to:

-Work directly with Business users in Front Office, Operations, Product Control and Financial Accounting to capture requirements in the form of user stories
-Collaborate with developers in Agile SCRUM teams to refine stories and ensure development meets requirements
-Manage user acceptance testing and provide status reporting
-Manage release process, ensuring that all Software Development processes have been followed correctly and that evidence is retained for audit purposes
-Support the test team in testing activities
-Documentation of interfaces, batch jobs and processes
-Collaborate with off-shore IT development team based in Poland

Must have skills

-At least 3 years experience as working as a Business Analyst in a Banking or Financial services, preferably within a Securities Lending or Treasury area
-All round financial products knowledge
-Excellent English language skills
-Prior experience of JIRA
-Strong analytical skills: ability to write clear and concise functional specifications, confident to push back on unclear requirements

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

-Knowledge of Securities Lending, Repo and Collateral trading
-Agile project delivery
-Ability to write SQL database queries
