BUSINESS ANALYST - REGULATORY RISK - ASSET MANAGEMENT - VOLCKER REGULATION

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The project will deliver the regulatory changes required to comply with the Volcker US Regulation, which have widespread implications across the Asset Management business.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The existing Regulatory Risk team are all fully allocated to other projects for the remainder of 2012. This resource will provide backfill for Regulatory Risk to allow experienced staff to support, direct and assist with the analysis of the impacts of the new regulations on the business.

- Previous experience in regulatory risk or compliance function
- Experience in asset management industry and broad awareness of regulatory changes impacting the asset management industry
- Analysis of regulation and production of summary papers to determine specific impacts on the business
- Co-ordination of requirements across asset management business units
- Issue resolution, problem solving, presentations and group facilitation

CORE SKILLS

- A sound knowledge of the current regulatory environment with a primary focus on asset management.
- Excellent communication, analysis and organisational skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Strong influencing skills
