Business Analyst (Regulatory Policy) - Zurich - Contract

For our client in the financial sector in Zurich we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST (REGULATORY POLICY) to join their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Compliance with existing and upcoming regulations and contributing to upcoming legislative initiatives
- Analyzing the impact of new legislation relating to financial benchmarks
- Preparing comments on legislative proposals to be submitted on behalf of our client
- Contributing to effective lobbying activities
- Interactions with supervisory authorities
- Supporting the continued implementation of regulatory principles and related guidelines.

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Previous experience in a similar position involving lobbying activities, communication with regulatory authorities, assessment of new laws and regulations
- Experience in either EMIR, Dodd-Frank or IOSCO etc
- Solid academic background in economics, law or a related field of study
- Ability to manage internal projects related to the implementation of new regulations
- Minimum 10 years financial sector experience, preferably in a compliance role
- Strong communication and analytical skills, fast-learner, results-driven
- Fluent English, German would be a strong advantage
