Our client in the Re Insurance Industry is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to perform a multitude of tasks.

MAIN TASKS

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
* Lead pre-project activities such as business case creation & project estimating.
* Execute projects adhering to approved budget
* Develop, articulate, and ensure project milestones are met;
* Manage completion of deliverables and coordinate dependencies on other projects
* Create, manage and update project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, project budgets and all other project management documentation adhering to the project management methodology.
* Manage vendors (where utilized) to ensure successful project completion.
* Track project metrics. Communicate frequently with executive leadership to provide project risk analysis, status, and requirements that may impact strategic direction.
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
* Travel as required.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS
* Collaborate closely with the business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes and data sources.
* Work with business to translate the business needs into clearly documented detailed requirements and functional specifications.
* Assess operational impact of technology changes.
* Communicate effectively and act as a respected counterpart to business demonstrated through domain knowledge and methodological approach.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
* 2+ years of Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience, with a good understanding of the terminology, business functions and processes.
* 2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition, business architecture and process modelling.
* 2+ years of project management experience.
* Profound experience in client-facing project engagements (2+ years).
* Experience in leading software technology projects with durations of 1+ years
* Experience in project management practices, including PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or similar project management methods.
* Experience with business case development and project cost estimation. Experience tracking project financials against budget.
* Skilled in Microsoft Project.
* Very strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

PREFERRED:
* PMP certification
* Knowledge of Agile development methodology
* Working knowledge of Microsoft-based infrastructure
