Business Analyst-Project Manager - AML - NYC

Individual must have 3 to 8 years of Technology and Legal and Compliance related business analysis and requirements gathering experience in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering, Asset Management, Fixed Income and Trade surveillance. High level responsibilities include needs analysis, requirements gathering and OFS FCCM AML (formerly Mantas) scenario design. This individual will report directly to the Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Technology, and will interact on a daily basis with members of Information Technology and members of the firm's Legal and Compliance team globally. In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements: - Successful track record as an AML product (preferably Mantas/OFS FCCM AML) owner/expert in a corporate environment. - Thorough knowledge in AML, Trade Surveillance systems and technology such as Mantas/OFS FCCM AML, CGI (formerly Logica) Hotscan, Worldcheck, etc. - Demonstrate through knowledge and understanding of fixed-income trading, asset management and portfolio management applications and how they are impacted by the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification Program compliance using industry standards and regulatory guidance, etc - Ability to design Mantas/OFS FCCM AML scenarios and prepare use/test cases to verify those scenarios. - Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel, Access and ORACLE 10G & above. - Ability to asses and analyze complex business needs and conceptualize creative solutions. - Excellent business communication skills (written, verbal and presentation skills) DESIRED qualifications include experience and/or knowledge of: - Technical 4-year degree a plus. 3-5 years AML experience - SQL scripting in Oracle platform - Knowledge in tools such as XLS, Visio, HTML Prototyping etc.
