Business Analyst/Project Coordinator (Brussels)

The Business Analysis & Project Coordination team (BAPC) is part of IT GM Business Services & Solutions (BSS). The mission of BSS is to be the entry point for IT functional support and projects for all customers in Global Markets Belgium, from Front to Middle and Back Office (FO, MO and BO).
The BAPC team is composed of 10 specialists with several years of experience in trade applications and the operations domain. The team is responsible for the analysis of requirements, drafting of functional specifications, testing and training of end users. The scope of their activities also includes project coordination and 3rd line support.
BAPC works for FO, MO and BO users in close cooperation with IT Business Management, other BSS teams (such as Rapid Application Delivery, Electronic Market Support, Front and Back Office support teams), other IT departments like ADM or PAY, other CIB departments in Brussels, London, Paris or offshore locations as well as external providers.
The Global Business Lines with a trader representation in Brussels are G10 Rates, Credit, Foreign Exchange & Local Markets, Financing and Primary Markets. We have a sales representation for Equity Derivatives and are not involved anymore in Commodity Derivatives.
The team is increasingly being solicited for regulatory initiatives (MiFID, EMIR) and therefore looking for a reinforcement.

Function Description
° As a business analyst you identify, analyse and document user requirements and IT processes.
° As a business analyst you define business cases, formulate solutions and draft functional specifications.
° As a business analyst you are involved in testing of new applications or processes and training of end users.
° As a Business Analyst, you represent CIB BE in the workshops organised by CIB Group and / or RPB and ensure all aspects defined are taken into account with a transversal view to avoid inconsistencies
° As a project coordinator you analyse feasibilities, manage priorities and define the roadmap for deliveries.
° As a project coordinator you lead and drive workgroups and coach a diverse range of participants.
° As a project coordinator you contribute to the IT architecture and keep an eye on the budget.
° As a project coordinator you monitor interdependencies with other initiatives, report to the stakeholders and escalate where appropriate.

Je profiel: Required knowledge / Experience
Education
Academic background in economics, informatics or sciences.

Certification
None required, certification in Project Methodology and Process Modeling is a plus, we use nearly all Microsoft Office tools.

Languages Requirement
French Al least bilingual French/English or Dutch/English
Dutch Al least bilingual French/English or Dutch/English
English Good knowledge in speaking and writing is a must.

Experience
At least 3 years working in IT

Technical Experience
Mandatory
Worked in a project environment before.

Preferable
Familiarity with project methodology is a plus.

Business Experience
Mandatory
Good knowledge of financial products.

Preferable
Familiar with Global Markets activity.
