Harvey Nash is looking for a Business Analyst/Programmer for a 11 + month project in Switzerland.
The role is for a Business Analyst/Programmer who contributes to a global team that is accelerating biological science.
Requirements
. A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
. At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
. Good written, visual, oral, and online communication skills (English a must, German a plus)
. Strong self-motivation and ability to learn new skills as needed
. Required: Java, Spring, Oracle
. Nice to have: Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)
. Fundamental principles for web application development
. Java/Javascript intercommunication and Javascript API development
. Javascript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
. Formal experience as a Business Analyst
. Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
