Business Analyst - Production Systems - Banking - New York, NY

A specialist consultancy is embarking on a significant project across a major global investment banks' production systems. The project scope is to review and recommend the automation of manual tasks, reduce duplication and improve overall processes. This is a cross-asset initiative aimed at driving efficiency and cost reduction through automation of manual process and to make system recommendations for self service in high cost locations.

The project team will comprise of a group of analysts who will be responsible for gathering information on the banks in-production trading systems' manual processes. This will comprise of accurate data capture, tooling, cleansing data and in turn providing task lists to development groups for remediation. The data will be collated and tracked using suitable tools and findings will be documented and presented to business stakeholders in a timely fashion.

The Program Manager is looking for analysts with a strong production systems/support backgrounds of front-to-back investment bank trading systems coupled with solid business analysis and data gathering skills. The range of production systems is wide therefore a broad appreciation of investment banking technology and production processes is of utmost importance.

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure is also essential as is experience with MS Products. Skills with JIRA or similar tracking tools is also advantageous.

This is a 3 month project which has the scope to extend until year end depending on initial findings and outcome.
