Business Analyst - Pricing & Actuarial

Hyphen have an exciting opportunity to work for a large Insurance client of ours based in York for a Business Analyst to work on a 6 month + project

The successful candidate will have Life & Pensions as well as Pricing and Actuarial experience including strong Datamodelling experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gather business requirements
- Datamodelling - cost/pricing modelling/persistency modelling
- Produce business process documentation
- Validation of requirements against existing functionality
- Sign off requirements
- Ensure that any changes to scope/requirements are managed via Change Control, with the appropriate documentation
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress and status reports as agreed and appropriate with the Project Manager
- Facilitate any required workshops & document output in a structured fashion

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Business Analysis to ISEB or equivalent including
- Life & Pensions Experience
- Pensions and Platform experience, including Investments in the corporate/employer environment.
- Stakeholder management to Director level.
- Different sales channels
- Actuarial experience including cost, persistency and pricing modelling
- Able to understand and articulate level of requirements required at different stages of project and by different people
- Experience of using Use Cases/Business Rules Catalogue/Process Mapping
- Workshop facilitation skills - but able to demonstrate the thought processes/structure required to design and lead a workshop in order to deliver an objective
