Business Analyst Payments (Avaloq)

Our client, a well known Bank in Zurich, is currently looking for a Business Analyst who has experience with specification and implementation (parameterisation) in Avaloq Core Banking Application system.

ROLE PURPOSE AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- General payments, incoming payments, Money Transfer, Standing Orders, Direct Debits, Cheques
- IGT (Biveroni), PUMA (message interfaces)
- Cashier Operations, Reconciliation
- Cards (Debit- and Credit card incl. Cash Travel Card)
- Incident management and 3rd level support
- Interface and 3rd party application maintenance
- Testing activities during release cycles
- Business manage small and mid-sized IT projects
- Enables smooth operation of Banking systems
- Solve and prevent risk issues
- Business analysis
- Incident management
- Testing activities
- Project lead and/or project work

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- English written and spoken
- Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications
- Development skills in at least one programming language
- PL/SQL skills, Oracle database know-how
- Project management (preferred)
- German written and spoken (preferred)
- Avaloq certification (preferred)
- University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering
- Experience in business analysis, consulting
- Experience in IT projects/IT project management
- Experience in Payments & Re-conciliations (preferred)
- Education in banking (preferred)
- 2-3 years of Avaloq and Banking experience (preferred)
