For our client in Amsterdam we're looking for Business Analyst (OFSAA)

COO Finance is responsible for the daily financial accounting and reporting of activities.
Finance Information Management (FIM) is part of COO Finance and its primary responsibility is acting as linking pin between Finance end-users, IT and Finance Project management.
The data foundation OFSAA team is one of the teams within the FIM department.
The OFSAA team is responsible for sourcing and standardising the Finance and Risk data into the OFSAA framework that supports Finance and Risk in their reporting needs in relation to the different value chains.
The OFSAA framework is currently being build up/configured in the 4sight program, which should deliver the Finance data warehouse from which all Finance departments worldwide will obtain their data.
It will act as sourcing system for financial reporting (Liquidity/Finrep/DNB/ECB etc.).

The data foundation OFSAA team is looking for a Business Analyst, who can act as the intermediary between Finance end-users, Finance IT, Value Chains and the Finance Project Manager.
We require the candidate to be flexible in his/her role within the team.

The tasks within department FIM data foundation OFSAA mainly consists of:
Change
- Answer questions and explain concepts and functioning of the OFSAA data model to sourcing parties and other stakeholders;
- Safeguarding the design of the application model and data model.
- This includes adherence to and improvement of the architecture (principles), definitions and logical data model;
- Participate in projects by translating user requirements into a functional design, configuration, supporting technical development, testing, conversion and implementation of new/changed applications (including those in the Front Office and Back Office domain);
- Support implementation of data model changes;
- Functionally guard data model;
- Partner between business change team and technical team;
- Maintenance of supported applications in OFSAA environment;
- Data quality framework, Reconciliation framework, Manual Entry Facility;
- Supporting Finance end-users with user acceptance tests;

Baseline support
- Daily checking timeliness, correctness and completeness of EOD processing, including engines, data quality and reconciliation framework;
- Delivering first line and/or second line support to our Finance end-users with regards to Finance specific data, data quality and reporting
- Create one off data extracts using SQL for ad-hoc analyses by Finance end-users

Skills
- Experience (at least 3 years) of working in a Finance environment as Business Analyst;
- Functional knowledge of OFSAA suites EPM and ERM including related data model knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of Wholesale Banking products, including Financial Markets products such as Swaps, Derivatives, Forex etc.;
- Data analysis;
- Proven and relevant working experience with SQL is a must;
- A strong affinity with IT is a must;
- Education: University (UK), HBO/University (NL).
- Preferably Business Economics combined with Information Technology;
- Experienced with Agile / Scrum way of working
