Business Analyst (Non-IT), Data Specialist, Documentation, Contract 6

A 6 MONTH POSITION IN ZURICH/SWITZERLAND

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finalize the documentation of input and output data attributes relevant for IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculation, disclosures and reporting (data dictionary)

Perform and document data lineage between the input and output data attributes of the ECL calculation for both data attributes used for risk and accounting owned inputs, including lineage between the accounting and risk owned attributes
Reviewing risk and accounting IT specifications to understand data lineage while CONSULTING WITH TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL STAKEHOLDERS/STRONG NEGOTITATION SKILLS

REQUIREMENTS:

Data Specialist with STRONG ANALYTICAL skills and experience in accounting/risk data architecture
Data architecture specialist (knowledge of UBS systems MERIVAL, ZEUS, GEAR, GGL, CRCS and GMeth is a plus)
KNOWLEDGE OF THE SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES OF THE BANK OR INSURANCE is an asset.
Good knowledge of accounting and RISK CONCEPTS
Ambition to rather quickly gain a thorough understanding of IFRS 9 ECL

At least Bachelor degree (or similar) in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Accounting
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in data management/data architecture/data lineage
Proficient in MS Office tools, especially EXCEL AND MS ACCESS
DATABASE MODELLING experience is a plus (knowledge of data types, relationship types, referential integrity)
Strong presentation and reporting skills are necessary
Ability to broker agreement amongst diverse stakeholders
Adherence to milestones in a time-sensitive, dynamic environment
Self-driven personality who assumes full ownership of his or her work
English fluent
