SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance we are looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst with OTC and derivatives. For this contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. THE JOB INVOLVES;
- An interesting role to liaise with business and technical team members in order to determine the solutions to business needs
- A role to develop functional specifications, presentations and documents according to requirements from business
- Responsibility to analyse, design, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the changing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX/PM options business on a middle-Back Office related Murex platform
- The possibility to work in a dynamic environment within investment banking middle- and back- office
- Analysis, incident resolution and consulting tasks
- Involvement in 3rd level support for production issues
SKILLS REQUIRED;
- Degree in Information Technology and/or Business Economics or equivalent
- Several years experience in a similar role within a large financial institution in a trading/Back Office environment
- Good system knowledge of Murex 3.1, preferably Back Office and accounting modules.
- Drive, pro-active work approach and good communication skills
- Ideally solid knowledge of treasury or FX Back Office processing, focusing on OTC derivatives for FX and PM products as well as for IRD's.
- Computer literacy and an interest in technical innovations (knowledge of XML (FPML) and SQL is a plus)
- Good communication skills in English, German would be an additional advantage
- A business-oriented approach
