Business Analyst - Mobile Apps

Role:
This organisation is focused on giving a commitment to their employees, growth has been both extensive and exponential. As a result, they are now searching for a seasoned and well rounded Business Analyst to join our Mobile Apps team based at Norwest, Bella Vista. You will be joining a team of professionals who are specialists in their chosen fields and dedicated to achieving the project outcomes for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define new functionality in order to deliver business solutions
- Participate in business planning, needs analysis and risk assessment
- Work with business and technology teams to lead/drive the definition, elicitation, prioritisation and validation of business requirements and design of business processes to meet the needs of the organisation
- Effective engagement of business partners, project stakeholders ensuring that the recommended solution is aligned to the targeted business outcomes, justifying the solution
- Plan, estimate and report on Business Analysis activities and deliverables
- Review and revise documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
- Support testing, training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the solution

Experience Required:

- Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role, within a large organization, digital agency or similar
- Experience working on mobile and tablet apps projects
- Experience in an Agile implementation
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
- Solid experience in workshop facilitation, negotiation and influencing key project stakeholders to derive business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to elicit, analyse, develop and manage business requirements, relate these to business processes, and ensure alignment with Corporate and Technology strategies
- A good understanding of how to drive customer focused outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in innovative technology

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Retail Experience, preferable in a multi-brand organisation
