Business Analyst - Mifid - Edinburgh

Empiric are working with a major Asset Management Organisation with key operational presence in Edinburgh. They are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Business Analyst contractors for an initial 6 month period to be based in their Edinburgh Offices.

They are looking for an experienced BA to assist with the MIFID2 project.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Regulatory & Investment Knowledge and ideally MiFID2 experience.
- Other Regulatory experience across recent Regulation impacting the Buy-side or associated Sell-side activities
- Pertinent Business Knowledge of some of the areas impacted by MiFID
- Front Office Processes
- Good knowledge of the Asset Management front to back Investment process
- Client and/or Investment Product knowledge
- Knowledge of Financial Instruments and the Markets/Platforms they are traded in ie FI, Equity, Derivatives, etc

The contract will be initially for 6 months in length with a chance of this being extended and daily rate will be up to around £500.
